Dogs

We take up to 2 large or 3 small dogs older than a year per cottage!

Please note - we do not take dogs in July or August.

What makes the difference for you and your dog on holiday? Here at Wringworthy we provide those extra touches that make the difference between allowing dogs to stay and making them and their owners feel really welcome. Your dog is an important part of your family and we cater for them as much as we do for you. We offer:

• dog friendly beaches only 8/10 minutes drive away at Seaton and Downderry
• a huge 7 acre dog exercise field right next door where your well-behaved dog can run off the lead and really tire himself out.
• Free doggy crates We are happy for you to leave your dog in the cottage whilst you go out and we provide the right size dog crate so you can do this with peace of mind
• Walks from our doorstep or books on ones further afield. We keep a wealth of information on places to eat and visit which share our philosophy in relation to dogs.
• Local kennelling facilities offering excellent rates on day stays – they will even collect your dog from your cottage!
• Spare blankets, dog bowls and towels – just in case you forget.
• Local vet information in case of emergency with resident owners on hand to help if needed .

RULES - We try and keep rules on dogs to an absolute minimum. . We welcome all dogs older than a year who are fully house trained. Whilst you are out on site, your dog must be kept on a lead at all times due to free ranging chickens and children! We make an additional charge of £18 per dog per week to a maximum of 2 large or 3 small dogs per cottage

All of our cottages have stairgates available to help keep your dog to the living areas and away from the bedrooms. If you want to leave your dog alone then we ask that you leave them in a dog crate, which we can provide free of charge - simple to make them into a home from home for your pet. Unfortunately, we do not accept dogs in July and August.
