We have now finished our cottage information packs and have had some great feedback from guests about how useful they are finding them. We try to pack in as much information as we can and of course there is also the Games Barn which many people call our mini Tourist Information Centre.

We decided over the Summer that it was time our much loved chickens had a new home. The new coop is in the same enclosure but larger and easier for our guests to find eggs. We had barely got the roof on and they were inside!

We decided to replace the brown front doors into Granary, Weavers and Millers with full length frosted glass ones to let in as much light into the hallways as possible. We are all really pleased with the results and look forward to our guests comments.

There are lots of things to do for free around and about. Some tried and tested favourites for guests include:

Walking from Looe to Polperro on the Coastal Path.
A really good walk taking about 2 and a quarter hours but not difficult even for smaller children. Some superb spots for picnics on the way. We walk this often and either get the boat or the bus back to Looe. Spectacular scenery and the sea always looks wonderful.

Crabbing off the quay at Looe.
We have the buckets and the crab lines. Use old scraps as bait and you are off!

Mount Edgecumbe country park
Great views across to the sea side of Plymouth. Come in the Spring and see the National Camellia collection or visit in the Autumn and collect conkers. Last time we went we collected over 40 conkers!

Bodmin Moor
ake a kite and a picnic and you can be up here all day. Wonderful panoramic views across the Moors and the chance to see the famous Cheesewring and Hurlers close up. We provide the map so its easy to find.

Siblyback Lake
haven for wildlife and a real treat for bird watchers. Now with a lakeside walk or cycle ride and new for this summer - High Ropes.

There's lots of other activities and days out - just ask us for details.

DID YOU KNOW ......that here at Wringworthy we offer money off vouchers for a number of local restaurants and attractions. Just ask for your free leaflet and start exploring!
