Wringworthy is an excellent base for a wide range of activities – beaches, things to do, things to see and more. We have lots of information in our Games barn for you to use during your stay and would be happy to help you plan your holiday before you arrive. The list of places to eat out is endless so please ask us for recommendations and menus.

Everything listed below is around 30 minutes drive from us and there is even more further afield. Whether you want to go crabbing off the quay in Looe, walking for miles along the sand at Seaton or jumping off a cliff at the Adrenalin Quarry now is the time to get planning for the perfect holiday.

Beaches – Looe, Seaton, Downderry, Millendreath for safe swimming and watersports.

Activities on the water – mackerel and sea fishing, boat trips to Looe Island, canoe trips, surfing lessons, SUP.

Lakes – Siblyback Lake for activity and adventure and Bake Lakes for fishing.

Walking – SW Coastal Path, Bodmin Moor with the Cheesewring and the Hurlers, King Donierts stone, Goliatha Falls, Clay trails St Austell, Mount Edgcumbe National Camelia collection.

Cycle Trails – The Camel Trail from Bodmin to Padstow, Plym Valley, Cardinham woods, Lanhydrock park.

Animal parks – The Monkey Sanctuary, Porfell Animal Land, Tamar Valley Donkey park.

Activities – Looe Golf Club, Adrenalin Quarry, Go Karting, Tree surfing, climbing wall in Looe. Horsesriding.

Heritage – Old Sardine Factory, Looe. Looe Museum, Looe valley train line, Pencarrow House, Port Eliot, Carnglaze Slate Caverns, Bodmin and Wenford Railway, Trematon Castle, Charlestown tall ships and Shipwreck Museum
